Enjoying the Difficulty of Mathematics

Image
The first thing you must consider if you are struggling in Mathematics is to find a way to enjoy it. You can understand better if you love what you are doing. In my case, I find it easy to be familiarized with some mathematical equation or formula if I put something on it. Just like the mnemonic used in Trigonometry SOH-CAH-TOA. I enjoyed a lot if we are using it in our discussion. Sometimes I put tone in the terms used in Mathematics with a matching dance steps. I can easily remember it during quizzes or exams. Also, I remember the jokes of my Math teacher way back when I was in Junior High. I can still recall it in my mind because of the way he delivered it. The value of pi (π) in simple way which is 3.1415926... just by counting the letters in each word in the phrase "May I have a large container of coffee". The difference between the right, acute and obtuse triangles. But sometimes, I also encounter difficult situations involving Math problems but we find ways. Peer teach

How a Hopeless Romantic Mechanical Engineering Write a Love Letter

Dear Someone, At the angle of 45°, I saw you in your rectangular window with your circular face, pointed nose and spherical eyes. My heart rate start to accelerate at the speed of 110 beats per minute(bpm) and my body temperature raised up to 313.17°K. I am willing to spend my 24 hours just to see you in that perfect spot. I don't know why I admire you like this, maybe because Cupid touched my heart using a tangent line that passes through the point of origin until infinity. But don't worry, I am aware that it is just a asymptotic love story. We can be closer and closer to each other but we will never met together. I just want you to know that you are my derivative of X, you are my one and only even though our relationship is like square root of negative one, it is IMAGINARY. I want you to mine and I want me to be yours but the calculator said that if we add YOU + ME we will result as syntax error. I cannot promise you a perfect score but I assure you that I can give you a pas

The Piattos Technique

Image
The first thing that  will surely pop-up in my mind when I see Piattos chips is this technique. It is commonly known as the Magic Hexagon in Trigonometric Identities. It is used to identify and help us to be familiarized with the Six Trigonometric functios. The sine, cosine, tangent, cotangent, secant, cosecant and the different Trigonometric identities. For example, sin^2(x)+cos^2(x) is equal to 1, sin(x) over cos(x) is equal to tan(x), 1 + cot^2(x) is equal to csc^2(x), tan(x)+cos(x) is equal to sin(x). Imagine those things inside my mind just because of a single chip of Piattos. That's the reason why my snack is always Skyflakes and Rebisco not Piattos.
